STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN
Stewardship Sunday was on November 24th. As you prepare your pledge to Golden Hill United Methodist Church for the year 2025, remember the greatest gift is Christ, who empowers us all to keep giving so that we continue to experience the blessings of a rich and heavenly harvest. We look forward to seeing you in virtual or in-person worship for the upcoming worship series: G.I.F.T. “Growing in Faith Together: Growing to Serve.” Pledge cards can be picked up at the back of the Sanctuary. However, if you wish to have a pledge card mailed to you, please call the church office at (203) 336 0152. May God bless your giving! that you do!
WORLD MISSIONS
Golden Hill church has been involved in numerous mission groups around the entire world. Our heart truly goes out to the people of the world, especially for those who have suffered a great loss in the most recent disaster in Kentucky, Your gift can truly make a difference.
ONLINE GIVING
Thank you for your support!
God provides for the ministry of our church through your tithes and offerings and your gifts are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability to our lead team and denomination. It’s more than keeping the lights on and the gears turning; it’s about personal worship to God and handing Him back what He already owns…and it’s about lives changing through the transformative power of the Gospel in our region and beyond.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?
Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”
~1 Chronicles 29:14
Other ways to give
We are switching to a new service for pledge envelopes in 2022. Instead of getting a full box that covers the entire year, you will begin to receive a package of envelopes mailed directly to you each quarter. This will help the church in a number of ways: it will save money to only purchase the envelopes that we need, it will streamline envelope distribution, and lastly it helps the environment by cutting down on unused envelopes.
The first mailing will go out some time in mid-December; our plan is to send envelopes to everyone who has given to the church in the past few years. If you normally get envelopes, then you will continue to do so under this new system (with the only exception being members who send their offerings regularly though e-giving).
If you would like to opt out and not receive envelopes next year, please email or call the church office and let Kamisha know so we can remove you from the mailing list.
